Two new cases of asymptomatic infection were imported from overseas in Qingdao on May 26, according to the Qingdao Health Commission. Both were Filipino male sailors aged 49 and 29. The foreign cargo ship set off from Malaysia and berthed at Berth 108 of Qingdao Qianwan Port Automation Terminal on May 25.
On May 26, the nucleic acid test results of the customs were positive. On the same day, they were transported by a 120 negative pressure ambulance to a designated hospital for isolation and treatment. Combined with the epidemiological history, clinical manifestations and laboratory test results, the expert group diagnosed them as asymptomatic infected persons.
Nineteen of his close contacts have been placed in quarantine on the ship for medical observation.

Maersk said truck service into Yantian International was affected by traffic congestion in the dockside area, with empty trains expected to suffer delays of at least eight hours.
